ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY WRITING
Below you will find some samplings from my public policy coursework. The first is a memo addressed to New York's governor, asking him to lift the moratorium on hydraulic fracturing. The next, composed of talking points and a briefing, is aimed toward addressing the World Bank as a United States representative and informing their decision as to whether or not they fund coal-powered projects in developed countries. The last is a literature review completed on my own about severance taxes on natural gas followed by a paper written by a group of public policy students, myself included, analyzing whether or not the tax is effective from an economic standpoint. I have included these pieces because they are very representative of how I have spent my time in the Ford School so far and I look forward to juxtaposing them against work that I complete in later semesters.
