POLICY WRITING
During my first semester in the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy I have taken three classes. The first, Public Policy 320, focuses on political institutions and how they affect policy. The second, Public Policy 330, explores the microeconomics that go into policymaking. The third, Public Policy 466, centers around the history and future of Detroit and includes a tour of the city.
These courses have encouraged me to study both environmental and social policy and many of my assignments have corresponded with these topics. Below you can select which of my two types of policy writing you're interested in exploring and discover what my classes have taught me in the past months.
